WTF... The Reason Behind Roger's Death Revealed...

This is my very first theory on one piece. In this theory I am going to speak regarding the incident between big mom and pirate king Gol. D. Roger. I think Big mom must have stole some of the life span of Gol D. Roger.

I know that, this seems ridiculous to even imagining such thing, as Big Mom is yonko level character and Gol D. Roger is Pirate king ‘The one with absolute power to rule over all the pirates in the one piece world.

As we all know world government didn’t capture the pirate king but he surrendered himself for specific purpose. His sacrifice of life gave birth to the pirate era. But the main reason behind his sacrifice is that, he was suffering by an incurable disease and was going to die. So, he wanted capable pirates to come to the grand line and find the one piece, and know the forgotten history of void century war.

In manga chapter 853, after the fight with brook Big mom mentioned that Gol D. Roger stole the poneglyph from right under her nose and read it with his power ‘the voice of all things’. Only a freak will think that she will just give the treasure away which is so important to her. She is not that type of person. At that time, the fight must have happened between Big Mom and Gol D. Roger.

As Roger was not pirate king during that incident, his power levels may be below yonko level. That’s why he had to flee from the situation.

Still the question remains, how can she stole the life span of Roger?

Even though Big mom have the ability to steal the life span of the person, she can use it only when that person is feared by her ability or power and Roger was truly the person who was fearless about the dangers in the grand line.

According to the Monkey D Garp, Roger was great caption and cared about his crew members a lot. So, it is possible that, he may have sensed the danger to the life of his crewmates and feared for their safety in that battle and Big Mom took advantage of that opportunity.

Roger still succeeded in stealing the poneglyph and reaching the Raftel but at the cost of decreasing his life span.
